Why have your brake fluid serviced

Brake fluid naturally absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. As the moisture content increases, the fluids boiling point decreases. Overtime braking performance can deteriorate due to inadequate heat dissipation. In addition, increased moisture content can contribute to deposit formations and corrosion inside brake components. Since Brake fluid moisture absorption is unavoidable, many manufacturers recommend a fluid exchange as part of their service intervals.
